Stability further improved in Sleipnir 3 for Windows

We have recently been told by our users that Sleipnir 3 for Windows does not crash even after using for a long time, but we still think there is room for improvement. In this version, we have made several improvements to achieve even better stability.

Below is from the release notes.

■ Application sometimes crashing when finishing navigating fixed

We have fixed the issue where the application would crash when trying to acquire extension function data. This issue occurred when using WebKit.

■ Application sometimes crashing when acquiring FeedReader favicons fixed

This is in response to users reporting that the application crashed easily in Windows 8. This issue occurred both when using WebKit and Trident, and also (rarely) occurred in operating systems other than Windows 8.

■ Process sometimes not terminating issue fixed/Update notifications and acquiring favicons sometimes not working fixed

The same problem is the cause. There were cases when update notifications and favicons could not be sent in blog server environments. We received countless reports in the user community about this, but it took a long time to find the cause. We are very thankful to all the feedback provided by users.

■ BASIC authentication dialog not being displayed in WebKit fixed

This has nothing to do with stability…but there was an issue where the login dialog would not display on web pages that required BASIC authentication. There were also other occasions other than with web pages where this occurred, such as when logging into router setting screens.

We have also added an ON/OFF switch for Hold And Go in the SuperDrag Extension. Please check out the release notes for further information.

Please continue to support Sleipnir!
