Check up on words you are interested for various apps

Just say for example that you are using the Twitter app and somebody you know tweets a words that you do not know, what would you do? You would probably end up searching for it, but inputting each word each time is just a bit bothersome, selecting text can be difficult, and sometimes you can not even select the text depending upon the app.

“Why is it such a bother to check up on something right before my eyes…” is something we understand very well! So, this time, Sleipnir Mobile for Android has made use of the Yahoo! JAPAN text analysis API to deal with this issue. The solution is below

Text is taken from using the share(Intent) function of each app, analyzing it and then setting each button with a keyword. All you have to do is tap the keywords you want to search for to add them into the input field and then tap search.

And of course, you can also add multiple keywords and combine this with the highly acclaimed suggest function and search engine selection. Yahoo! real time search has also been added to search engines! Responses to popular keywords on Twitter and Facebook can be checked in real time. Please check it out.

Furthermore, if you hold down on keyword or the search engine button, you can open search results in the background. This is great for when you want to search multiple search engines for many words you want to check for.

Pick up searching can also be performed from the displayed page

It is also possible to pick up words and search from the currently displayed page.

This can be used either from the long press menu or the app menu. Only the displayed text on the page is analyzed so you can efficiently pick up what is needed.

Select the analysis method based on usage

Longish phrases are displayed in chunks based on order of importance, but if you press the switch button in the screen after analyzing, you can align keywords as short words by the order they appear just like in the picture below.

We recommend picking up by order of importance normally, and then when you want to set it so it is more specific, setting it by order of appearance.
